Great to meet you!

I have worked in the mental health field for 20 years and as a therapist for 10 years. I have worked in behavioral health day programs and group homes for adults and children. I have training in EMDR and parent child psychotherapy. I utilize a whole health, person centered approach.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I seek to help through a compassionate and authentic approach, meeting you where you are at without judgement. I will educate and encourage you to use new ways of thinking and acting to improve overall individual, child, parent and family wellness as. I acknowledge that change is difficult and respond with compassion and understanding while also challenging you to expand your comfort zone so you can seek out peace.

What you can expect from our first session

Focus in therapy can be developing distress tolerance, minimizing stress, managing anxiety and depression, developing assertiveness and self-acceptance, setting boundaries, improving relationships and coping with adult and/or childhood trauma.
