Great to meet you!

I've been a practicing clinician for over fifteen years in a variety of educational, community, and private settings. I currently live in Durham, North Carolina with my family, and see clients remotely in NC, NY, and OR.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a therapist, I use an integrative approach drawing from evidence based work including cognitive behavior therapy, existential-humanistic theory, somatic/mindfulness approaches such as guided meditation & Hakomi, and internal family systems (IFS) methodology to help clients explore the parts of them that feel disconnected or activated. I am currently training to provide psychedelic assisted therapy integration services in the future.

What you can expect from our first session

My biggest hope is that clients come away from sessions with a deeper sense of themselves and hope to continue on their healing journey. Together in our sessions, we will take a closer look at some of the patterns of thinking and behaving that aren't serving you well, but we breathe compassion into why those patterns may be there in the first place so we can offer ourselves compassion, understanding, and a new way of being.
