Great to meet you!

Do you find yourself constantly overthinking, putting everyone else's needs before your own, or feeling emotionally exhausted from always being the strong one?

Many of the teens (16+) and women I work with are used to carrying a lot. They're the person others depend on—the friend who always shows up, the one everyone turns to, the caregiver, the helper, the achiever. From the outside, they often appear capable, self-aware, and put together. But internally, they're struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelming emotions, people-pleasing, or a sense that they're merely surviving rather than truly living. At some point, being strong stopped feeling empowering and started feeling lonely.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Mississippi, Texas, and Florida, I specialize in helping clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with themselves. My goal is to help you quiet the overthinking, manage intense emotions, build self-trust, and create a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, emotional overwhelm, or a major life transition, therapy can be a space where you no longer have to carry everything alone.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. My approach is collaborative, empowering, and compassionate, meaning I will meet you where you are while also encouraging meaningful growth and change.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we'll explore not only what is happening in your life today, but also the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles.

I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences while developing practical tools they can use in everyday life. Depending on your goals, we may focus on managing anxiety, regulating emotions, strengthening boundaries, improving relationships, challenging self-critical thoughts, or healing patterns that no longer serve you.

I believe insight and action are both important. Understanding why you struggle can be incredibly powerful, but healing also requires learning new ways to respond to yourself and the world around you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to being the one who supports

everyone else. My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, collaborative, and free from judgment.

During our first session, we'll spend time exploring what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships, and life experiences so I can better understand the full picture of who you are.

You do not need to have the "right words" or a perfectly organized story. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.

Many clients leave their first session feeling relieved, understood, and more hopeful about the future. Together, we'll identify goals, create a plan that feels meaningful to you, and begin building the skills and insight needed to help you move toward the life you want to create.

You don't have to be the strong one here. Therapy is a space where you can set down the weight you've been carrying and reconnect with yourself beneath the survival mode.
