Great to meet you!

I have 17 years of experience as a therapist in varied settings as well as lots of life experience with loss, mental health issues and parenting. I promise to provide you with a safe space to express yourself as well as plenty of evidence-based techniques. I hope we get the opportunity to work together to help you start to feel more in control of your life and your current situation.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is making clients feel comfortable and supported, first and foremost, and letting them know I am in their corner. I am very collaborative in determining what the client wants to focus on in therapy and in coming up with a treatment plan that is realistic and works for them. My strengths include being open-minded, teaching coping skills, creating analogies to relay concepts in a more digestible manner, and providing a safe space for clients to accomplish their goals.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to provide support and to teach tools that can be used long after our sessions end, so completion is whenever you feel like you have improved significantly and are able to implement those tools outside of therapy.
