Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have extensive experience treating adults in both outpatient and residential settings and provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for conditions including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. My practice is built on a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan focused on resilience, personal growth, and lasting wellness. I believe in responsible, evidence-based prescribing and thoughtful diagnostic evaluation. ADHD treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment, and when appropriate, psychological testing or supporting documentation may be required to confirm the diagnosis before stimulant medication is considered. Additionally, my practice does not routinely prescribe benzodiazepines for the treatment of anxiety or insomnia. Instead, I focus on treatments that have strong evidence for long-term effectiveness and safety, including psychotherapy referrals, lifestyle interventions, and non-benzodiazepine medication options when appropriate. My goal is to partner with individuals who are committed to improving their mental health and actively participating in their treatment journey. Whether you are seeking relief from symptoms, greater emotional resilience, or a path toward lasting recovery, I look forward to working with you. If you are ready to invest in your mental wellness, I invite you to schedule a virtual consultation. Together, we can create a personalized treatment plan that supports your goals and helps you build a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My ideal client is someone who is ready to engage in their mental health journey with openness and a willingness to grow. They are looking for an approach that combines both medical treatment and emotional support. I am trained and have experience from working in the residential setting with medication management. I do not prescribe benzodiazepines for long-term use and if I do feel it is necessary, it's short-term (less than two weeks), and on a case-by-case basis. . These are medications like Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin, or Valium. If this is something you are wanting or feel you need to continue, another provider may be able to meet your needs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will take time to discuss your concerns, personal history, and overall mental health. I'll ask questions about your symptoms, life style and goals of treatment. I will assign diagnosis and we will discuss treatment.
