Great to meet you!

I earned my M.S. in Professional Counseling from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where I trained in both counseling and marriage and family therapy. I have experience working with teens and adults through individual and couples counseling, as well as group therapy. I work with clients who may be dealing with anxiety, stress, life changes, relationship concerns, family issues, or questions about who they are and what they want for their lives.

As a bilingual therapist, I understand that growing up or living between different cultures can sometimes feel complicated. Language barriers, family expectations, and feeling caught between cultures can affect how we see ourselves and our relationships. I want my clients to feel comfortable bringing those experiences into therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and focused on you as a whole person. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you rather than tell you what to do. Together, we can better understand your thoughts, feelings, and patterns, learn ways to handle difficult emotions, and work toward changes that fit your values and goals. I want therapy to feel like a safe, judgment-free space where you can be honest and be yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to get from therapy, and what is important to you. You’ll also have space to ask questions and share anything you feel comfortable sharing.
