Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychoanalyst in the Flatiron District of New York who specializes in anxiety, depression, life transitions, complex trauma, women's issues, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I enjoy working with adults of all ages who seek to understand and overcome self-defeating patterns, access inner resources and strengths, and connect to a deeper sense of self.

My approach to therapy

I utilize my training and background in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapy to facilitate self-exploration, to promote healing from past relational trauma, and to unblock the path to creativity and positive change. I also draw upon my experience with mindfulness practice to help clients develop greater mind-body integration, self-acceptance, and groundedness.

What you can expect from me

Through deep and empathic listening, I seek to create a safe, supportive, compassionate space in which unresolved internal and interpersonal experiences can freely find expression and eventually find their way to resolution. Since therapy is essentially a relationship, I see it as an interactive, collaborative process that promotes insight and healing.
