Great to meet you!

I provide psychiatric medication management and am licensed to prescribe in Virginia and West Virginia. If medication is needed, then together we will explore the options that fit your needs best and choose medications that are best for you. Medication education is a vital part and will be included in the prescription decision.

My approach to therapy

I offer relational-based therapy, talk therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I feel that attachments formed in our early childhood have significant impact on our ability to be present with ourselves and others. Exploring your attachment styles provides insight to present struggles. Reframing your views and beliefs can empower you to approach your life with greater courage and confidence. Coping skills can support you in venturing into situations where before fear and anxiety kept you away.

What you can expect from me

I believe that healing trauma, pain, and maladaptive life approaches requires a holistic approach to feeling and processing what our body has experienced and felt in a safe environment. My desire is that through offering you welcome and compassion in the form of presence I can inspire you to find healing and reconnection to your whole self, particularly your body, through self-compassion and presence.
