Great to meet you!
I’m Melanie Pignotti, LCPC, and I bring 19 years of experience helping individuals and families move through trauma, transition, and the emotional demands of high‐stress roles. My background includes extensive work as a trained forensic interviewer supporting children who were alleged victims or witnesses, trauma therapy for children and adolescents, and advocacy for survivors and their caregivers. I’ve also supported first responders and professionals navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, and the cumulative impact of trauma.Alongside my clinical work, I currently serve as the CEO of a nonprofit organization providing social and mental health services.
Leading a mission‐driven organization while balancing family life has given me a firsthand understanding of the pressures women face in leadership, caregiving, and identity. These experiences fuel my passion for supporting women through major life transitions — whether it’s stepping into new roles, navigating career changes, managing burnout, redefining boundaries, or reconnecting with themselves after years of putting others first.
Women often carry an invisible emotional load — balancing relationships, work, family expectations, identity, and personal well‐being all at once. I support women who are navigating these pressures and seeking a space where they can feel seen, validated, and empowered.
My work focuses on the unique challenges women face across different stages of life, including identity development, role strain, reproductive transitions, burnout, and the impact of societal expectations. Whether you’re managing chronic stress, struggling with anxiety or depression, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands placed on you, therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths and create meaningful change.
