Great to meet you!

I’m Melanie Johnson Rambo, M.A., LPC, NCC a licensed professional counselor and proud single mother. My life experiences have taught me strength, faith, and the importance of emotional and spiritual wellness. These values guide the compassion and gentleness I bring into every session. I am a graduate of Liberty University, where I learned the importance of integrating both heart and skill into the counseling process.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in a warm, person-centered approach where you are truly seen and heard. I combine:

  • Person-Centered Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness and grounding practices

My goal is to create a safe, peaceful space where you can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner strength and spiritual foundation.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming, gentle conversation. We will take our time getting to know each other and exploring what you are hoping to heal or grow through. I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and spiritually grounded as we create a plan that feels aligned with your needs and your pace. My intention is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, valued, and hopeful about the path ahead.
