Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Latina I am passionate about working with the Latine community. I understand that it is often vulnerable to talk about mental health and has historically been minimalist throughout our community. I strive to create an inviting space where you feel comfortable talking about your experiences. I specialize in anxiety and depression as well as interpersonal relationships and helping others with identity-related issues.

My approach to therapy

I recognize that every individual is unique, and I strive to meet my clients where they are at in life. I pull from strengths based approaches to help clients grow and overcome obstacles they may be facing in life. I also ensure to take a collaborative approach in therapy and empower clients to make their own choices about whatever may be bringing them to therapy. However, I also recognize that some people prefer a more direct approach, and may be able to adjust to doing so as well.

What you can expect from me

Our initial session will be an opportunity for me to learn more about you, you to tell your story, and begin to identify your goals for therapy. I hope that through this session we can also begin to build upon our relationships, creating a warm and safe environment which fosters vulnerability and your ability to live as your authentic self.
