Great to meet you!

As a dually licensed clinician, I assist individuals and couples explore the deeper, often unconscious patterns that drive trauma, relationship distress, and addictive/compulsive coping behaviors. I hold credentials as both a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Specializing in trauma-focused care, my practice goes beyond surface-level symptoms to uncover how early attachment history and unresolved relational wounds shape present struggles. Beyond private practice, I bring extensive clinical experience working within drug and alcohol treatment centers and serving on Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams for high-acuity crisis stabilization. This background allows me to provide comprehensive, wrap-around care that addresses acute crises while simultaneously healing the root psychological wounds. In a safe, collaborative space, we work to break destructive cycles, build secure attachment patterns, and foster true, lasting psychological healing.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in a deep respect for the human capacity to heal, grow, and adapt. You are the ultimate expert on your own life. My role is not to dictate your path, but to offer a deeply collaborative, non-judgmental space where you feel safe enough to explore your internal world.

While we navigate immediate challenges together, we will simultaneously explore patterns that influence your life. We will look at how your early attachment history, relationship dynamics, and unresolved wounds have shaped your internal models of connection. Often, what looks like a symptom is actually an adaptive, survival-driven response. I empower clients to uncover how these past injuries manifest as coping behaviors or persistent relational distress. By bringing these hidden dynamics to light, we can heal the root vulnerabilities rather than managing the symptoms.

Therapy with me is a dynamic partnership. Backed by clinical education and systemic training, I balance compassionate containment with active exploration. Together, we will gently unpack early life experiences, process painful wounds, and dismantle the survival strategies that no longer serve you. By cultivating self-compassion and building secure attachment patterns, we will work to break free from repetitive, destructive cycles and foster true, lasting personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a collaborative introduction designed to help us connect and explore how we can best work together. We will begin building a rapport and determine what you need to feel secure and respected in this process. Together, we will complete a comprehensive assessment. We will look at how biological factors, psychological experiences, and social environments uniquely impact your well-being. This holistic approach allows us to gather essential background information on your presenting concerns, providing a complete picture of your lived experiences so we can create a plan tailored to your circumstances and goals.
