Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California with a Master’s degree in Social Work and have been practicing since 2018. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children, youth, and adults from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of life experiences.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have experience supporting clients across different stages of life and understand that each person’s experiences, culture, relationships, and environment can shape how they navigate challenges.

As a clinician, I’m genuinely curious about each client’s unique perspective and the experiences that have shaped who they are. I value creating a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and know that their experiences will be met with understanding and without judgment.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches and draw from trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and biopsychosocial perspectives based on my clinical assessment of your individual needs. I take time to understand what may be contributing to your current concerns and use that information to guide treatment planning and determine what approaches may be most helpful. I believe you should understand what we’re working on and why, so I’ll share my clinical observations, recommendations, and perspective with you throughout the process. I also encourage you to ask questions, challenge my perspective, and take time to decide what resonates with you. My role is not to tell you what to believe, but to help you process, gain insight, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself so that you can come to your own conclusions and make choices that feel authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your history, relationships, environment, and any factors that may be affecting how you’re feeling or functioning right now. This helps me develop an initial clinical understanding of your needs and begin thinking about treatment goals together.

You can also expect space to ask questions about me, my approach, or the therapy process. I want you to feel comfortable sharing your perspective and letting me know what feels helpful or what you may want to approach differently. We don’t have to figure everything out in the first session. My goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of what we may want to work on and a foundation for moving forward together.
