Great to meet you!
Depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. You deserve space to be heard and understood, even when it is hard to put your experience into words. I welcome clients navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and the pressures of work, school and everyday life.
My path to counseling was a bit unconventional. I worked in Higher Education as a VP of Enrollment, and in sales and sales management in Biotech start-ups. These experiences help me connect with clients navigating demanding responsibilities, workplace relationships, career changes, and the strain that professional pressures can place on your personal life.
My biotech background also included work in oncology, and I hold certifications in grief counseling. I welcome individuals facing a cancer diagnosis, survivors navigating life after treatment, and families coping with caregiving, uncertainty, and loss. I understand that the grief and trauma associated with cancer can extend beyond treatment and affect relationships, identity, and hopes for the future.
I hold a master’s degree in counseling from Wake Forest University, a master’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Taylor University. My education and professional experience give me a broad perspective on the connections between emotional well-being, health, relationships, and work.
Whatever brings you to counseling, I welcome the opportunity to know you as a person, including your struggles, strengths, and what matters most to you.
