Melinda Pitts has a diverse educational and nursing background. She earned her first Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and subsequently earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Melinda has an extensive background in mental health care and has clinical experience working in both private and community outpatient/inpatient mental health facilities in addition to the emergency room and partial hospital/intensive outpatient settings. Melinda’s expertise also includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with attention deficit disorders, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. to evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions.
