Great to meet you!

With nearly 20 years of experience, my passion for helping others is deeply ingrained in my professional practice. Having worked with teenagers in both a disciplinary and public school setting, as well as women in the church setting, my diverse experiences have led me to transition from educational and Christian counseling to private mental health counseling. Today, my focus remains on working with women, adolescents and children who are seeking hope and guidance while emphasizing self-empowerment.

My approach to therapy

I am dedicated to encouraging, equipping, and empowering individuals to lead a fulfilling and confident life. Utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy with teens and adults, the sessions should leave you feeling productive. Play therapy takes a bit more time, as the child gets to run the session and open up as he/she feels comfortable.

What you can expect from me

I believe all people can learn and accomplish remarkable success. My goal is to encourage, equip and empower individuals toward a self-assured future. Utilizing evidence-based treatments, sessions remain future-focused as each person learns coping skills to feel confident in his or her own life.
