Great to meet you!

As a psychologist, I believe people are inherently resilient and have the ability to make and sustain positive changes in their lives. Sometimes it's helpful to have a partner in that change process, which is where I come in. My work focuses on adults (age 18+) and I have extensive experience with college students.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy focuses on the power of the relationship. I believe it's important that I have a strong relationship with each client that is based on mutual trust and respect. Within that framework, I assist clients in identifying and using their strengths to approach their challenges and explore ways of moving towards their goals.

What you can expect from our first session

The first session is a chance for me to get to know you and to understand what it is you are seeking from therapy. It also allows you a chance to get to know me. This allows us both to confirm that working together is a good fit. Moving forward, we will focus on the goals you have set for treatment and I will encourage you to work towards those goals both within our meetings and between sessions.
