Beauty for Ashes Trauma Treatment and Therapy was established after I lost my son to suicide. I needed to know what went wrong and my search ended with becoming a Trauma Therapist to help others navigate what I have been through. I received my Masters of Art in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I am trained and seeking certification in EMDR, TF-CBT, Sand Tray Therapy, and DBT (certified). I serve children, teens, and adults.
My approach to therapy is to spend time getting to know you; your victories, your struggles, your strengths, weaknesses, your desire to overcome, and your goals for counseling. We will then do assessments and a clinical interview to select the therapy that will be most effective for you as well as develop a treatment plan. I want to walk with you side by side to reduce or resolve any signs or symptoms of stress or trauma you may be experiencing as you navigate your unforeseen journey.
These sessions educate you in what you are facing, treatment, recovery, and how to maintain strong mental health in the future. Most of my clients begin to see marked improvement and changes in less than a month in their signs and symptoms, and continued improvement to build and sustain their mental health.
