Hi there, I'm Melishia!

Hi! My name is Melishia R. Phillips, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about helping people grow, change, and ultimately live their best lives. I am devoted to empowering others and creating positive awareness within the mind, body, and soul. As a therapist, I strive to assist clients find inspiration, motivation, and ultimately revelation.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a "whatever it takes" approach to assisting my clients with attaining their goals. We are in this together! I walk the journey with my clients to find hope and experience healing. I provide a safe space for clients to be their true authentic selves, free of judgment. I am empathic and compassionate while helping guide clients throughout their therapeutic process. Throughout my experience in the helping field, I have worked with multiple individuals with a variety of diagnoses.

Is to aim to guide my clients to revelation and self-awareness and acceptance. I aim to help my clients identify dysfunctional thought patterns and replace them with functional true thoughts. I challenge my clients where they are stuck and encourage them to view things through a different lens.

My clients and I work together to build "SMART" goals= Goals that are specific, measurable achievable, realistic, and timely.
