Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Melissa, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and have been a therapist working with a variety of client issues for 25+ years. I currently specialize in supporting clients who battle anxiety. Using a client's current strengths and faith is often a foundation to begin the journey for bringing calm into your daily life.

My approach to therapy

Creating a warm and accepting environment for my clients is a priority. I like to use a solution focused approach, identifying current client strengths which we can use to help them achieve their goals. When appropriate, I incorporate a client's faith as a part of overcoming daily anxiety, as well as humor since laughter works as a good medicine.

What you can expect from me

Together we'll create a roadmap to get client's to the place they want to be at, including actionable steps to take in between sessions. Neuropsychology research will be shared to help identify evidence based strategies which will make a difference for clients.
