A bit about my approach to therapy

My name is Dr. Melissa Arnott. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in several states, a Licensed Addictions Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor with over 18 years of experience. I am ready to help you! I view counseling as a collaborative process that helps people explore, clarify, and identify their needs. I operate from an Existential/Person-Centered philosophy that emphasizes meaning in one’s life, responsibility, and the pursuit to be “that self which one truly is”.

What you can expect from our first session

As a dedicated, culturally responsive educator and professional counselor with a broad knowledge of therapeutic approaches, I offer a myriad of effective services to individuals at all stages of life. These services include both individual, family, & group counseling, educational and vocational coaching. I will help you make changes in cognitions and behaviors that will result in better life satisfaction and self-acceptance.
