Depression and Family Issues

Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) and Latinx LCSW, who prioritizes providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for all. I work with diverse clients in reducing and managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD – helping to create healthy boundaries, strategize ways to approach difficult familial issues, processing loss, and other components that impact our daily lives such as race and cultural identity, work stress, career transitions, and burnout.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I operate by utilizing psychodynamic, strength-based, and person-centered approaches. Working collaboratively with a client helps them to understand their personal history and its significance. When appropriate I incorporate other modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy and solution-focused therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to help each client to achieve a better understanding of who they are and how they perceive themselves in the world. I will encourage you to step outside of your normal comfort level, explore challenging feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to enable you to recognize patterns of unwanted or undesired outcomes.
