Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Melissa. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other emotional challenges. I know reaching out for support can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and able to show up as you are without judgment.

My approach to therapy

I’ve provided individual, group, and family therapy in both in-person and telehealth settings, and I’ve worked with clients facing everything from everyday stress to more complex mental health challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I draw from CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling hard lately, and what you hope to get out of the process. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. This is a space to ask questions, feel supported, and see if we’re a good fit. Together, we’ll start building a plan that helps you feel more grounded, resilient, and fulfilled.
