Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family and relationship issues, career changes, and various other life concerns. My clients come from diverse cultures and sexual and gender identities, and include Active Duty and Veteran populations.

I work with individuals from all walks of life. My specialties include anger management, anxiety, chronic pain, codependency, coping skills, depression, domestic violence, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, panic attacks, parenting, racial identity, relationship issues, self-esteem, and ADHD.

I am a collaborative and goal-focused clinician. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I aim to work in partnership with you. Our dialogue and treatment plan will be tailored to your specific needs as we utilize evidence-based practices to help you achieve your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare began with realizing how underserved certain populations, particularly minorities, have been historically. I have worked for the Veterans Crisis Line, ACT teams, community service clinics, healthcare plans, and in private practice, providing one-on-one, group, and family therapy for diverse populations.

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach is eclectic, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral, Strength-Based, Person-Focused, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused modalities. I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs, working collaboratively to find the right path forward. I believe in addressing mental health in a holistic and empowering way with a great deal of kindness and a sprinkle of humor.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on understanding your unique situation, needs, and goals. This will involve discussing what brings you to therapy, learning about your background, and identifying the areas where you'd like to see change or growth. You can expect me to be warm, non-judgmental, and focused on understanding your perspective.

My priority is to provide you with high-quality, culturally sensitive care that is accessible and effective. Through our work together, my goal is to empower you with the skills and insights to navigate life's challenges, enhance your well-being and achieve your personal goals for growth and healing.
