Hello! I am Melissa Brierley (she/her) and I am a graduate of Columbia University and have over ten years of relevant clinical experience in various settings including private practice, inpatient, outpatient and forensic behavioral health. I work with diverse clients and my goal in therapy is to assist you with navigating various challenges to improve your sense of self, relationships, and overall quality of life. I function from a culturally competent and social justice perspective.

My approach to therapy is holistic, integrative and our work together is collaborative. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression and other life transitions. However, you're the expert on your life and I will utilize my professional experience and training in various modalities to assist you with exploring presenting problems and identifying barriers. Sessions can be structured or exploratory to ensure your needs are met!
