Great to meet you!

Melissa (Missy) is a Licensed Therapist (LCSW) with a decade of dedicated experience supporting individuals across a diverse range of settings. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in English, going on to earn a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Springfield College in 2016.

Since 2016, Missy has built a versatile and comprehensive practice within the social work field, serving clients in private schools, navigating community needs in municipal social work, and providing dedicated care in private practice. Following years of rigorous clinical experience, she officially received her clinical license (LCSW) in early 2026.

My approach to therapy

In her clinical practice, Missy utilizes a person-centered approach blended with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

By combining a collaborative, empathetic foundation with practical, goal-oriented strategies, she creates a supportive environment tailored to each client's unique needs, helping them navigate life's challenges and achieve lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a collaborative, judgment-free space to explore your unique strengths, struggles, and goals. While we will use an intake questionnaire as our conversational roadmap, it serves simply as a guide. My role is to empower you to become the best version of yourself—defined entirely by your vision, not by the expectations of anyone else. Together, we will create a supportive foundation tailored completely to your journey.
