Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work and experience in schools, community mental health, child welfare, hospice, and outpatient therapy. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with people through some of the most challenging and vulnerable seasons of their lives. I work primarily with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and the effects of difficult relationships. I believe people are more than the challenges they are facing, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that there is usually a reason behind the ways we think, feel, and respond. Together, we explore how past experiences may be influencing present emotions, relationships, and patterns, while also identifying the strengths and resources you already possess. I don't believe therapy is about telling you what you should do; it is about helping you better understand yourself so that you can make choices that feel healthy and authentic to you. My goal is for clients to develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, healthier patterns, and a stronger sense of trust in themselves.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to begin getting to know one another and to understand what brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We will talk about what you have been experiencing, what you would like to change, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while giving you space to tell your story at your own pace. I will ask questions and offer observations as we begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas we may want to explore together. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come—I want our first session to feel like a safe, welcoming place to begin.
