Great to meet you!
Hello!
I believe helping people address the symptoms (anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, psychosocial stressors) in a person-centered approach can help to develop the tools and coping skills needed to live a better life.
I start with building rapport to get to know you to figure out what is best and most meaningful for you in addressing inter/intrapersonal conflicts. I help you by identifying what is important and how we can get there together. I offer a safe, inclusive, and evidence-based (motivation interviewing, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic) style; so you can move forward.
I graduated from Syracuse University with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health in 2010 and have worked in a variety of employers that have provided me with experience working with individuals with different mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. I also have spent a large portion of my career providing treatment in the community and believe that knowing your support and your community is important to well-being.
