Great to meet you!

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change when provided with the right support, encouragement, and environment. My approach to counseling is rooted in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel valued, heard, and respected.

With over two decades of experience in education, counseling, and leadership, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals. My professional journey has allowed me to work with adolescents, adults, families, and professionals facing a variety of life transitions, emotional struggles, and personal obstacles.

I am particularly passionate about helping clients develop self-confidence, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, manage stress and anxiety, navigate life changes, and discover their own path toward fulfillment. I believe that meaningful change occurs when people experience dignity, acceptance, hope, and genuine connection.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work alongside clients to identify their strengths, build practical strategies, and create lasting change. I strive to meet each person where they are, recognizing that every individual’s story, experiences, and goals are unique.

Whether you are facing a difficult season, seeking personal growth, navigating career or relationship challenges, or simply looking for a supportive space to process life’s experiences, I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward greater well-being and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Beginning counseling can feel like a big step, and it is natural to have questions or even some uncertainty about what to expect. My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive environment where you can share your story at your own pace.

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to counseling. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, relationships, and goals to gain a better understanding of your unique experiences and needs. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the counseling process and determine whether we are a good fit for working together.

The first session is not about having all the answers or solving everything immediately. Instead, it is about building a foundation of trust, understanding, and collaboration. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and developing a plan that supports your growth, healing, and well-being.

You can expect to be met with empathy, respect, and genuine care rather than judgment. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, meaning we will work together to recognize your existing strengths while exploring practical strategies to help you move toward the life you want to create.

Most importantly, you can expect a safe space where your voice matters, your experiences are honored, and your journey is treated with compassion, respect, empathy, and care.
