Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with 15 years of counseling experience working with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. My background spans clinical practice and behavioral health leadership, helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and complex life transitions. I believe some of the most meaningful therapeutic work happens through simple, honest conversations where people finally feel heard. I bring clinical experience, genuine compassion, and a practical perspective to helping you navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that mental and physical health are deeply connected. I believe lasting change comes from understanding the whole person, not just the problem. Drawing from evidence based practices, I work collaboratively with you to identify patterns, consider new perspectives, and develop practical strategies that support your goals. I believe the best work happens through open, honest conversations where you can explore what you are experiencing without judgment. I also bring warmth and, when appropriate, a little humor to our sessions, while making room for the full spectrum of emotions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, and begin to understand what you hope to gain from the process. We may explore your background, relationships, current challenges, and what feels most important to you right now. You will also have space to ask questions and decide whether my approach feels like a good fit.

I will listen carefully, help you make sense of what you are experiencing, and offer a different perspective when it may be helpful, while respecting your pace and individual needs.

Change often takes time, and therapy is a process. My goal is for you to leave our sessions with greater clarity, a better understanding of yourself, and a clearer sense of how you would like to move forward.
