Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally take a breath, be completely yourself, and talk about the things you may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else. My approach is warm, transparent, empathetic, and occasionally sprinkled with a little edgy humor—because sometimes you need someone who can sit with the hard stuff while also helping you laugh at the absurdity of being human.I’ve worked in the behavioral health field since 2009 and bring years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges and transitions. As a licensed clinician, I use a collaborative, solution-focused approach grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based approaches when they fit your needs.

My approach to therapy

I’m especially interested in helping clients understand the patterns that keep showing up in their lives—not to judge those patterns, but to understand where they came from and why they once served a purpose. Together, we can explore how your experiences, relationships, and development have shaped the way you see yourself and the world around you.I believe that some of the stories we carry about ourselves were written long before we had a say in them. Therapy can give you the opportunity to examine those stories, decide what still belongs to you, and begin rewriting the parts that no longer serve you. When we change the way we understand ourselves, we can begin changing the way we respond, behave, connect, and allow others into our lives.

What you can expect from me

My goal is never to tell you who you should be. I want to help you better understand who you are, identify what you want to change, and develop practical tools to move toward the life and relationships you actually want. I’ll be honest with you, I’ll meet you where you are, and I’ll never judge you for being human. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start therapy. You just have to be willing to start.
