Great to meet you!

The most important thing I can offer you is a space where you can feel understood and safe. Goals in therapy often start with conflict in relationships but usually the work turns to healing early childhood wounds. I work with adults of all ages, including LGBTQIA+, particularly and transgender and nonbinary people. I understand the specific ways that growing up with trauma or queer shapes identity and ultimately how you relate to the world. Deep inner wounds often don't have a clear name but have been shaping your life for a long time.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me look different depending on what you bring in that day. Through talk therapy we will explore and get curious about your life experiences. We might use art, journaling, sand tray work, or pay close attention to what's happening in the body. We will laugh and cry, complain and be grateful, and everything in between. My career has been focused on healing deep childhood wounds: not about shaming or blaming, but about finding your inner self, your inner balance, and learning to be true to you. That is the work I love most, and I don't take it lightly.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simply a chance to meet, begin to get a sense of one another, and let you share what's been on your mind. We may talk about your childhood or what you do day to day - its up to you. There's no pressure and no script. You can show up exactly as you are. If you're ready to get started, I'd love to hear from you.
