Great to meet you!

As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and nursing professor, I bring a wealth of experience for patients across the lifespan. I have a holistic, evidence-based approach, taking into consideration mind, body, and spirit when recommending treatment.

My approach to therapy

I believe each person is a unique individual, with life experiences that shape their current situation. I am warm, open, and judgment-free, allowing you to be comfortable while sharing difficult, personal information. Together, we will discover a plan that works for you to be the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first visit is all about getting to know you, your unique situation and concerns. Ensuring the body is balanced (with proper nutrients, vitamins, and medical care) helps with balancing the mind. An updated physical, medical diagnoses, and medication list is appreciated, along with recent labs. We will measure your blood pressure and pulse, as many medications prescribed may affect these. If you have had struggles with finding the right medication, I may recommend testing via cheek swab to identify medication metabolism issues.
