I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) with more than 30 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life challenges. I earned both my bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in counseling from Indiana State University.
Throughout my career, I have provided individual, family, and group therapy in a variety of behavioral health settings and have spent over 26 years with Centerstone
in both clinical and leadership roles. My experience spans outpatient therapy with a variety of focus areas, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, substance use treatment, family therapy, and community-based behavioral healthcare.
My treatment approach incorporates person-centered, evidence-based practices including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care. I have extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, Grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, substance use disorders, grief, suicidal thoughts, and emotional distress.
Personally, I believe healing happens through meaningful relationships. I am passionate about helping people discover their strengths, build resilience, and
develop practical skills that lead to lasting change. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and
empowered to achieve their goals.
