Great to meet you!

Hello, Thank you for considering taking the first step in your mental health wellbeing. I have over 20 years of experience as a licensed independent social worker, beginning my career in dual diagnosis inpatient psychiatric units and later working with the homeless mentally ill population. I spent several years in a hospital system's employee assistance counseling department, focusing on mental health, relationship issues, grief, trauma, work-related concerns, and self-esteem. My experience also includes managing psychiatric evaluations and assisting patients in emergency departments. Currently, I work in corporate America, providing counseling focused on career-driven stress and career coaching to enhance overall mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I believe in creating a safe, collaborative, non -judgmental space where you can freely explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences. My approach to therapy is grounded in talk therapy which allows us to have open and honest conversations about what is going on in your life. The goal is not just to talk, but to connect meaningfully and understand the underlying patterns that influence your emotional and mental well being.

What you can expect from me

Talk therapy is an effective way to address a range of issues from anxiety and depression, relationship struggles, and life transitions. It helps to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and your behaviors, while offering the support you need. Through conversation we can explore the challenges you're facing, identify patterns in your thinking, and work toward solutions that help you live a more fulfilling life.
