Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over nine years of psychiatric experience, including seven years as a psychiatric registered nurse and more than two years as a PMHNP. My background includes working at North Texas State Hospital and Helen Farabee Centers, caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions. I hold degrees in psychology and nursing, including a Master of Arts in General Psychology and a Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and partnering with my patients to achieve their mental health goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe in treating the whole person, not just symptoms. I value building trusting collaborative relationships with my patients and creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and respected. My up-front approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, patient education, and individualized treatment planning to help patients reach their mental health goals and improve their overall well-being.

Whether working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, or other mental health concerns, I am committed to providing personalized care that empowers patients on their journey toward healing, resilience, and lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity to get to know you and understand your mental health needs. During this visit, we will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals. This comprehensive assessment helps us develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, or referrals to additional resources when appropriate.

Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can openly share your experiences. By the end of the visit, you will have a better understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps in your journey toward improved mental wellness.

I look forward to partnering with you in achieving your mental health and wellness goals.
