Great to meet you!

For over 20 years I have specialized in therapy and counseling (primarily for women) combining both Psychodynamic and Somatic approaches.

Specialties include Anxiety, Stress & Overwhelm, Depression and other Mood Disorders, Emotional Eating and Binge Eating, Trauma Resolution, LGBTQIA issues (including Coming Out Later In Life), Aging, Loss & Grief and more.

Approaches include Somatic therapies, Meditation & Mindfulness, EFT Tapping, Somatic processing, Progressive Counting, Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy and more.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Incorporating somatic and body-based methods into therapy allows you to resolve your distress at its core - so that you can get 'unstuck' and truly move on with the rest of your life.

My approach has been described as organic, warm, funny, and engaging. Authentic connection is deeply important to me and, I believe, must be present in the therapy room for true healing to happen. It is also true that more than a few clients have commented that 1 session with me feels like 2 or 3 sessions with their previous therapist.

If it's time to do the deeper work that will shift your relationship with yourself into a peaceful and powerful place, we may be a good fit for therapy work together.

What you can expect from our first session

Using evidence-based somatic and psychodynamic approaches, you will experience relief in our very first session. It really is possible.

We will work from both ends (the present and the past) to resolve, once and for all, the deeper internal obstacles that continue to get in your way.

Along the way, you will develop a deeper connection to Self, and become re-energized by the possibilities that appear to you with greater and greater clarity.
