Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals navigating some of life’s most challenging experiences. My work is grounded in supporting children, teens, and adults — particularly those impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders such as bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder (BPD).

I have extensive experience working with the foster care system, and I’m passionate about helping those who have experienced complex trauma find healing, safety, and empowerment. I also specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, creating a safe, affirming space for clients of all identities to explore their experiences without judgment.

As a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, I integrate evidence-based techniques to help clients process past trauma and move toward lasting emotional wellness. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and deeply collaborative — because I believe that healing happens in relationship, and your story deserves to be heard with empathy and respect.

My approach to therapy

I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to create a supportive space where we work together to explore your experiences, strengths, and goals. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or other challenges, I’ll help you tap into your inner resources and build confidence in your ability to heal and grow. Using techniques like EMDR and strength-based strategies, we’ll focus on what works best for you, respecting your unique path to well-being.

What you can expect from me

From our work together, you can expect to leave each session feeling more understood, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to manage challenges in your life. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of your emotions, behaviors, and patterns, along with strategies for processing past trauma and navigating current struggles. Most importantly, you’ll build confidence in your ability to heal and create positive change.

Whether it’s through EMDR, mindfulness, or other approaches, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling more connected to your inner resources and your capacity for growth.
