Great to meet you!

Melissa graduated from the School of Social Welfare at Stony Brook University and went on from there to obtain her LCSW. She has worked in many different clinics and facilities over the years, serving a variety of populations from early childhood ages into adulthood.

My approach to therapy

With an emphasis on connection to mind, body and soul, Melissa will help guide her clients to access the fullness and authenticity of their own unique life path. Her focus is to help clients to understand and embrace the fabric of the empowered and dynamic person that they are. With a deep dedication to healing, and consistency in treatment, she will lead you to a life that is more aligned and liberated.

What you can expect from me

Melissa’s philosophy is primarily focused on the idea that when you are invested in shedding the belief systems and old patterns that perpetuate the cycles of anxiety, depression and self doubt, you can come into the full experience of joy that is your life. In the first session, the focus would be to establish a working relationship in which both parties feel a shared energy that is ideal for growth and healing. Together, we will decide if this feels like a good fit, moving forward!
