Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington State with more than 19 years of experience. Much of my work has been with military members and families, giving me a strong understanding of military culture and lifestyle.

I work with clients facing addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, divorce, parenting challenges, career transitions, and midlife or existential concerns.

Building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, supported, and heard is my top priority. I look forward to working with you on your path toward growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and empowering. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in creating meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mainly focused on gathering information and understanding your situation from a broader perspective. I ask a lot of questions about your background, current concerns, relationships, and what brings you to therapy. This helps me get a clearer picture of what’s going on and what may be most helpful moving forward. We will also discuss your goals for therapy and what you hope to get out of the process.
