Great to meet you!

I deeply value to the work I do as a Social Worker. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago. I have nearly ten years of experience working with clients of various ages in a variety of contexts. I currently work full-time as a school administrator at a school for children with autism and I enjoy continuing to offer therapy to utilize more of my social work skills. As a therapist, I have worked with clients dealing with anxiety, ADHD, grief/loss, relationship issues, transition issues, trauma and more.

I find that my strengths are in relating to my clients, encouraging self love, and building support skills and support systems. I approach each client with grace, curiosity, and respect, tailoring treatment to meet unique needs and goals. I want my clients to know that our time together is collaborative — I bring my expertise, but I also see you as the expert on your own life.

Outside of my work, I love being outside, because it helps me feel connected to the world around me. My hope is that you feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work toward meaningful growth together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in what matters most to my clients. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation, so I prioritize checking in regularly and creating space for clients to bring forward what’s important to them. Together, we look for patterns in their lives that may need attention, while also highlighting their strengths and recognizing areas where they are already growing.

I place a strong emphasis on helping clients establish healthy boundaries and create balance in their daily lives. I see therapy as a partnership where my role is to support, encourage, and challenge clients in ways that feel safe and meaningful. At the heart of my approach is the belief that people thrive when they feel understood, respected, and empowered to make changes that align with their values and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I hope to share a bit about myself and my practice and learn about you! I know for some people starting therapy or starting therapy again can be a challenge so I will always follow your lead on how much you want to share and talk through. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in the work that we are doing together. I want you to find the right therapist, whether that is me or not and I will always strive to make sure you feel supported and comfortable asking questions.
