Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, trauma, or ongoing stress begin affecting your relationships, confidence, school performance, work life, or overall well-being. You may feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, uncertain about your next steps, or frustrated by patterns that seem difficult to change. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family stress, and emotional difficulties. With experience as both a school counselor and mental health professional, I understand the unique challenges that children, teens, and families often face while also supporting adults through periods of personal growth and change. As a bilingual therapist providing services in English and Spanish, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and growth oriented. I believe therapy should provide a safe space where clients feel supported while also developing practical skills that can improve everyday life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based interventions, Psychoeducation, and Developmentally Appropriate Therapeutic approaches to meet each client's unique needs. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and behavioral patterns that may be contributing to current challenges while identifying strengths that can support healing and growth. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, family difficulties, academic pressures, or life transitions, therapy will focus on building resilience, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and creating meaningful change that aligns with your goals.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, valued, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration. As we work together, you may develop healthier coping strategies, increased confidence, stronger emotional regulation skills, improved communication, and greater resilience when facing life's challenges. My goal is to help you feel empowered to navigate difficulties with greater clarity and confidence while building the skills needed to create lasting emotional wellness and personal growth. Positive change is possible, and you don't have to navigate challenges alone.
