Specializes in

Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I treat individuals who have experienced a traumatic event, and are struggling with the anxiety or depression as a result of that event. I help individuals to find relief to their symptoms, redefine how they see their world, and get back to engaging in life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is based on what suits you best. Some of my clients like a structured, paced approach, some like a more creative approach, and others like a mixture of both. I take an active presence in session, and will encourage you to practice outside of session. I give homework, journal prompts, and use techniques involving art materials. My clients find my approach to be warm, supportive, direct, no-nonsense, and down-to-earth.

What you can expect from our first session

You will always understand why something works, or how something works. I love to help my client understand how they are experiencing, and where it comes from. I use a lot of education about your symptoms, because I feel this is important for you to get relief. More often than not, you will walk away from our sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered.
