Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed mental health clinician and coach who understands that pain is nuanced, deeply personal, and deserves to be met with compassion rather than judgment. Although clinically trained in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, and a wide range of life stressors, my greatest strength lies in helping people reconnect with the parts of themselves that long to be seen, understood, validated, and protected.

I intentionally create therapeutic spaces where healing can unfold through authenticity, curiosity, and acceptance. I bear witness to the stories that need to be told and gently explore how your experiences have shaped your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, relationships, and sense of self. Rather than viewing any part of you as broken or defective, I understand many of these patterns as adaptations that once served to protect you. Together, we honor the role those survival strategies have played while creating space for new ways of living that are more aligned with your values, goals, and the life you desire.

My approach to therapy

Healing is not about becoming someone new—it's about reconnecting with the person you were created to be before pain, fear, and survival became your primary way of navigating the world. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and grounded in the understanding that our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and nervous system are deeply interconnected.

Together, we seek to understand not only what happened to you, but how those experiences continue to shape your present-day life. I integrate cognitive and behavioral strategies, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and trauma-focused interventions—including EMDR when clinically appropriate—to help reduce distress, increase emotional resilience, and support lasting change. Rather than simply managing symptoms, our work focuses on developing insight, strengthening your capacity for self-compassion, and creating new patterns that align with your values and the life you want to live.

For clients who desire it, I also integrate a biblical/Christian worldview into therapy. I believe faith and clinical excellence can work together, honoring both the wisdom of evidence-based treatment and the hope found in God's redemptive work. Whether faith is central to your healing or simply something you wish to explore, I strive to create a space where every part of your story can be met with both compassion and clinical care.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and more deeply connected to themselves. I aim to create a warm, reflective space that fosters safety, self-compassion, and curiosity. Together, we work toward goals like developing emotional awareness, restructuring unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening boundaries, and cultivating personal agency. For clients seeking spiritual integration, sessions may also include practices that align with their faith to support inner peace and purpose. My hope is that each session moves clients closer to restoration, resilience, and a renewed sense of wholeness.
