Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I provide a compassionate, culturally affirming space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. My approach recognizes how culture, relationships, family dynamics, and lived experiences can impact mental health and healing. I value each person’s unique identity and strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can show up authentically and feel supported in their growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is culturally grounded, empathetic and empowering. I create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgemental space where clients feel seen, heard and respected within the context of their lived experiences, identity and culture. I believe therapy is helping individuals reconnect with their strengths, build self-awareness, develop practical tools while moving toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they have the opportunity to share their concerns, experiences, and goals at their own pace.

During the first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal and family background, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I also take time to understand the cultural, relational, and life experiences that may shape your mental health and overall well-being.

My approach is collaborative and culturally affirming, meaning therapy is tailored to your unique experiences, values, and needs. Together, we will begin building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, compassion, and authenticity while exploring goals that support your healing and personal growth.
