Great to meet you!

At the heart of my practice is a genuine desire to help people grow. I believe every person has the ability to create a life that feels meaningful, connected, and aligned with their values. My role is to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, build new skills, and discover what’s possible for them. My style is warm, direct, and growth‐oriented.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in a client‐centered, collaborative approach that honors each person’s strengths, lived experiences, and capacity for change. I draw from an eclectic blend of evidence‐based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful, sustainable progress. My career has been shaped by more than a decade of clinical practice, leadership, and program development across community mental health, integrated healthcare, and family services. My clinical approach is rooted in a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I also hold degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Child & Family Services, giving me a multidimensional lens for understanding individuals within their environments. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—one where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

You can expect our first session to be a welcoming non-judgmental space where I get to know you—your experiences, challenges, and the areas of life where you’re seeking change. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and agree on a pace and appointment schedule that supports your growth. This initial meeting also gives you the chance to get a feel for my style and decide whether working together feels like the right fit as you begin your therapeutic journey.
