Great to meet you!

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood and genuinely supported. With more than three decades in the helping profession and 11 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can grow with confidence. My Christian faith influences the care and integrity I bring to my work, and I respect each client's individual beliefs, values and goals. I have a special passion for helping women navigate midlife and menopause with resilience and hope.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented, using primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients develop practical tools for lasting change. I also believe healing doesn't have to be heavy every moment...there is often room for humor, hope and celebrate progress along the way. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, build resilience, and leave each session feeling empowered.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other in a relaxed, comfortable environment. I'll listen to your story, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to identify your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy. There is no pressure to have anything figured out. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, encouraged, and confident that you don't have to face life's challenges alone.
