Great to meet you!

Before becoming a licensed therapist, I spent 15 years working as a music therapist in forensic psychiatric settings. That experience deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, trauma, and the complexity of human behavior. Today my work centers on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Guided Imagery and Music (GIM), helping adults clarify goals, build on strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I help adults with anxiety and ADHD who feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or burned out. My approach is practical and solution-focused, helping clients build strategies and create meaningful change.

I also work with teens and families when a young person feels stuck or overwhelmed with school, work, or next steps. These challenges are often linked to anxiety, ADHD, or executive functioning, and we work together to create a realistic path forward.

I use a practical, goal-oriented approach grounded in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients create meaningful change. As a board-certified music therapist, I also offer the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music, a creative way to explore emotions and gain insight.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on understanding your concerns and clarifying what meaningful change would look like for you. I’ll ask focused, collaborative questions to learn about your goals, strengths, and what’s already working in your life. Together we’ll begin identifying small, realistic steps that move you toward the future you want.

Many clients begin to notice progress within 6–8 sessions as we focus on achievable steps and real-life solutions. My goal is to create a space that is both supportive and productive—where you can think clearly, gain perspective, and leave sessions with tools you can actually use.
