Great to meet you!

As a licensed counselor with over 10 years of experience, I have worked in a variety of different settings with those struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. I graduated from Liberty University with a master's in counseling and practice as a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings.

My approach to therapy

I believe that everyone has a story and needs help sometimes. Treatment should be a team effort. My role is to listen and support you in your progress and challenge you when needed. Communication and respect are important parts to a good therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

At the first session, you will be able to share your story and your goals for treatment. You may find that I ask a lot of questions at first to make sure that I understand your history and goals for treatment. My hope is to empower you to reach those goals in a warm and safe space.
