Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Melissa Sharp, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in treating individuals aged 6 through middle-aged adults who are navigating mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, mood changes, ADHD, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health. I have a strong foundation in both nursing and psychiatric practice. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care by integrating clinical expertise with a holistic, patient -centered approach to support individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and life transitions. My approach emphasizes trust, respect, and shared decision-making, empowering patients to take an active role in their mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative, respectful, and personalized approach to your mental health care. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Our first visit will focus on getting to know you, your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. From there, we'll develop a plan together that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle strategies tailored to your needs. My goal is to support your growth, stability, and overall well-being at a pace that feels right to you.
